They have great personalities, and have awesome music. Papadosio are quickly becoming very popular.

BUT do not do any art for Papadosio if you are approached by them. I made a cheap price for my art, spent well over two hundred dollars, for two weekend camping trips ,to Festivals where they were playing to meet up with them ( out of support) AND to deliver their art to them *my designs*. One even promised that they would get me in for free, and invited me...come to find that they gave their pass away to someone else...OOOOPS!
They took off when I told them that I had their art in my car and I was going to get it. They said that they would be at the Fest until the next day, and took off. My husband & I was carrying my art around looking for them, and we asked everyone where they went, and they took off. I called them, and got no answer on their cell phone.
I came home and sent an email saying that I was pulling out of the deal, because they didn't seem interested, nor have I heard from them since the Nelson Ledges fest. One of the members immediately called, and wanted to meet up with me to receive the art in the area that I live, since they were close by at the time.
And since that day of giving their art to them, I have heard nothing back from them, nor did I get anything except $100, when the agreement was 150... half of the $300 that was offered in the first place. Generous as I was, I said it was too high, so we met in the middle on the price...I still didn't get $150 as agreed upon. They wrote a check for $100 and that was it.


I met them, and they were very kind, but they didn't keep to their promises on properly crediting me as an artist to the two logos that I designed for them, and now my art is strewn about the Internet, and even altered here.
[link] Where they allowed my art to be digitally altered & animated! Papadosio never a linked back to me at 3 separate sites as the artist of those designs!

is what is now for sale as T-shirt designs (which I knew about when I did this for them), and other memorabilia for the band.

They recently came out with a new CD, and while at the Newport in my native Columbus Ohio, they had sold T-shirts with my designs on them, and everyone else seemed to have one but me, although that was another simple request of mine also.
Not that I'm ticked off about some stupid T-shirt (I can buy and design my own), BUT it was the hype and flattery that they whispered in my ear, was nothing but a prop for their band, while not exposing me as one of their artists.

They have used art by two artists here on DA , that I know of, besides me, I don't know how they were given exposure, because I can't find info about them, unless it's by some comment I read by a fan! They have no art etiquette, and barely any respect for the artist, once they get what they want.

It was my fault that I gave them a cheap price and wanted a CD, T-shirt ect. to make the difference of the price. I even framed the damn things and met up to deliver to them.
Their music and band has been exposed and promoted by me to over 2,000 people, and they couldn't even put my name to the art that I designed for them.
Greedy? No, violated.

I'm warning everyone about them and I'm sure there are a whole slew of other bands that take advatage of the artistic community, while saying that they have respect.
I joined their site just to see if someone recognized me, since my art is plastered everywhere without proper credit!


I also went to Nelson ledges to see them, on my own account, because they were damn good, but they acted like I was some fly by, and have not contacted me since they got a hold of my art, that I designed.

I could have easily been doing art for someone else and making money at that time, with some proper exposure.
I've even made more money doing tattoo designs, and was generous to them, but I guess the lesson's learned!

Papadosio: I will be more cautious who I work with the next time, you were kind in my presence, but have ignored me as an artist, when I was promised otherwise.
Good Luck and learn art etiquette, why don't you! If someone did something with your guys music, what the heck would you do with your copyright?
